Barcelona

Bacalao
Mercat de la Boqueria

When in Barcelona, the one place any self respecting foodie must visit is the Mercat de la Boqueria, one of Europe's most famous markets. And rightfully so, the immense array of fresh and dried produce in their vibrant best is a ridiculously mind-boggling sight to behold.

A word of caution though, to foodies and non foodies alike, watch out for the wretched pickpockets and con men hunting for their next prey along La Ramblas. Hold on tight to your purses and steer clear of any and everyone, and I mean everyone. Coz shopping in Mercat de la Boqueria ain't much fun when you've got no Euros on ya.
