San Sebastián: Tapas

 
 Rabo de Toro  (Oxtail Stew)

Spain is best known for her tapas, and nowhere is this Spanish institution better made and enjoyed than in the Basque city of San Sebastián, a 5 1/2 hour train ride from Barcelona.And let me assure you, it's a trip well worth taking. After a week of relentless pickpockets taking the joy out of my Barcelona stay, not to mention the scorching summer heat, to be in the picturesque, mountainous and relaxing San Sebastián is welcome detour indeed.
